They're back! On July 27, the youth group returnedSacred Heart Church | Mission trip to Colorado from their trip to Colorado where they helped with flood relief. We are happy to have them home safe --  and I am sure tired and very proud of the good work they did. Oh, I almost forgot, they had a GREAT time! When you get a chance, please say 'thank you' to these young people of our parish for their commitment to help those in need. Click this link to view more pictures

Sacred Heart Church | Golf OutingWhat a great day for golf! Friday, July 25 was the date for the 2014 Annual Golf Outing. Each year, parishioners gather to enjoy a day of golf. Once again, the outing was held at Legacy Golf Course in Norwalk. The weather cooperated, and we even had a hole in one (congrats to Kent Gleichman). In addition to the fun, each year the event raises funds to support the Sacred Heart Parish Nursing program, and events and activities sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. These important programs offer support that will benefit many of our parishioners and our community. I have heard it said that whenSacred Heart Catholic Church | Music Ministry you sing at church, you pray twice. It's a beautiful thought! If you are interested in putting that concept into practice, you might want to consider joining one of our choirs at Sacred Heart Church. Currently, we offer: Chancel Choir (mixed adults), a Children's Choir (grades 3-8), Heartbeats Praise Band (a mixerd adult choir), Teen Choir (contemporary music with high school students), KC Choir (membership in Knights of Columbus is not requried), and Voices from the Heart (a newly established women's choir). This is a great way to play a vital role in our liturgy! CLICK HERE to learn more about our choirs.
