On May 10, the students at Sacred Heart School celebrated May Crowning. The month of May is traditionally dedicated to Mary and considered the season of the beginning of new life. The students processed into the church carrying bouquets of flowers to present to Our Blessed Mother. They placed a crown of flowers on the statue of Mary. The celebration was full of joy and love, and beautiful smiles.

On Saturday, May 4, 100 of our Sacred Heart Church | First Communion young members celebrated First Eucharist at two Masses. These young people have been preparing for First Eucharist at Sacred Heart School and at Children's Faith Formation. In addition to the support our young students have received from parents and family, many teachers and catechists worked hard to help them prepare for this special celebration. The day was full of happy children and proud parents and grandparents.

Congratulation to our high school seniors! 2013 graduates and their families gathered on Sunday, April 28 for Mass and a brunch. Our community sends you off with prayers and well wishes! Sacred Heart Church is planning a Mass and Volunteer Appreciation Garden Party on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Following 4 pm Mass, a reception will be held on the north lawn near the prayer garden.
